She has covered the full perimeter of the property every morning without fail since she was eight months old. The route is treated as a single unit: shortcuts across the interior are not recognized as part of the job. Staff time her rounds when scheduling deliveries so trucks do not intersect the line she is walking. She does not accelerate for visitors who try to keep pace; she maintains the pace that matches the fence. Deviations are rare and are logged when they occur.

Field Notes

  • Feb 2024

Perimeter completed in forty-two minutes. Same sequence as prior week.

  • May 2024

Route broken at southwest corner. A fallen branch blocked the path. She waited until removal, then resumed from that point.

  • Jul 2024

Visitor jogged alongside for two hundred yards. She did not adjust speed. Visitor dropped back.

  • Oct 2024

Morning rounds completed in reverse order after temporary gate work on the east side. Returned to standard sequence the following day.
