He is photogenic in a way that seems deliberate rather than accidental. He is often found in the sunniest part of whatever room or yard he occupies, and the position reads as chosen even when no one saw him relocate. He registers observation without needing reassurance: being watched does not change his posture. Staff do not assign him to dark corners for events; the assignment is understood to fail. He tolerates handling when offered and ends it when he is done, without fuss.

Positioned on the south ramp at opening. Sun moved; he moved twelve minutes later to the next patch.

Event photos taken from three angles. He held the same orientation relative to the camera in each frame.

Cloud cover. He remained in place. When light returned, he was already centered in it.

Visitor held a reflector. He did not approach it. He adjusted his own angle slightly. Staff noted the outcome.
