He is the oldest active resident on the roster. Most mornings he is near the café entrance before the first guest arrives, and he is often still there when the mid-morning rush thins. He has never rushed anywhere staff can document. Introductions happen on his schedule: he approaches when ready and not before. Visitors who need immediate contact are directed elsewhere; visitors who can wait find that he settles the interaction himself. His water schedule is known to the café staff and is treated as fixed.
